Bespoke External Poster Cases For The Everyman Theatre Liverpool
The Everyman Theatre, Liverpool, Commissioned 16 Poster Cases From Display Developments
The Liverpool Everyman Theatre, winners of the Stirling prize for the best building of the year, recently reopened after being shut for almost three years due to a multi-million pound rebuild. The Everyman closed in July 2011 and has been rebuilt at a cost of £27m including a funding grant of £17m from the National Lottery.
It relaunched with performances of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, starring Matthew Kelly and Nick Woodeson, who started their careers at the theatre in the 1970s. Matthew and Nick were part of the celebrated 1974 Everyman Theatre company as were Bill Nighy, Julie Walters and Pete Postlethwaite who is sadly no longer with us. The celebrations to relaunch the Everyman Theatre commenced with a lighting up parade on 1st March followed by the opening of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night one week later. Other productions in the new season include Hope Place by Michael Wynne and a new version of The Beggar’s Opera.
Display Developments are proud to have been chosen as the supplier of the Everyman Theatre’s 15 new poster cases manufactured in stainless steel and powder coated to a matt black finish.
