Display Developments has invested heavily in its machining facilities. We have the in-house capability for CNC routing and drilling, cutting 6 x 2 ½ metre sheets, turning and milling our full range of plastics materials including acrylics, Perspex, PETG, polypropylene and aluminium plastic composites such as Dibond.
With the recent introduction of two 3000 x 1550mm multi-tool changing CNC routers, capacity and flexibility have been substantially enhanced, enabling us to meet increasingly varied client needs whilst maintaining a competitive edge.
The entire plastics manufacturing plant is fully automated and computer controlled, meaning a smooth transfer of CAD design drawing to factory floor for production. This simple transfer of data means fast turnaround on urgent orders and a fluid prototyping and development process on custom fabrication designs.
Our experienced personnel and jig design capabilities ensure that all items are manufactured to consistently high standards and exacting tolerances.
The coupling of our in-house two and three dimensional forming with our flexible approach to jigging and trimming, is a key factor in differentiating Display Developments from the competition.
We provide machining and trimming as part of the complete plastic products manufacturing process. Combined with other technology and expertise such as vacuum forming, fabrication and assembly and plastics finishing we can deliver large, high volume runs for a national campaign down to small batches and even one-offs as required.
