Display Developments & The Health Lottery

The Health Lottery were seeking a supplier for branded till point and multi-function holders for dispensing millions of Playcards and Player Guides to new players nationally. This was then expanded to include floor standing Play Stands.

They required a display manufacturer with the necessary design expertise and manufacturing capacity to produce thousands of POS items and stands within an almost impossible deadline of 14 weeks in order to meet the fixed launch date.

Display Developments produced visuals and sample prototypes within 3 weeks. The Health Lottery team made their choice of designs and agreed on three different units

• Till Point Playcard Holder injection moulded 4 tier card holder in clear styrene with full colour printed side graphics, non-slip feet and printed rear header
• Muti-Function Playcard Holder manufactured in clear acrylic with fixings for counter, wall, shelf edge or window fixing. Full colour printed rear header
• Play Stands fabricated from rigid foam PVC with full colour printed front, sides and rear. Unit included clear injection moulded card and pen holders and mark resistant writing surface

Display Developments then produced and delivered the initial roll-out requirement in just 10 weeks and then introduced night shifts to ensure production was all completed by the launch date.

Following extensive first week media coverage the launch was a huge success with 2 lucky winners scooping £100,000 in the first ever Health Lottery draw.

ABS pressure formed boxes

The Brief: High definition forming required to produce a low number of Autocue electronic boxes. The problem was the low number required was too low for injection moulding. The solution: Black ABS - Pressure assist vacuum formed to give high definition at reasonable tooling prices, Nextel coated finish - with small red acrylic fabrication inset.

Clear perspex museum cases

The showcases installed here at the V & A Museum are manufactured using our UV bonding system. This allows us to produce without overspill and bubbles joints giving 360 degree vision around an exhibit.

Plexiglas computer table

We were briefed by an architect to produce the following:-
a) Part design and fully manufacture a clear acrylic table. Fixings to facilitate flat pack assembly in 8 sections. Tabletop joints must all be flush
b) Overall size: 5.2 metres x 2.6 metres
c) 25mm clear dual satinice Plexiglas acrylic
d) 35mm clear Acrylic legs, with 10mm clear acrylic 'flushing' plates
e) Mechanical stainless steel Tappex inserts and socket head bolt fixings
f ) All outside edges buff polished

Security Pedestal Covers for Game Stores Group

Over 1000 units produced for roll out programme - delivered direct to all UK and Eire stores

Vacuum formed from hardwearing silver colour matched ABS with high impact clear PETG interchangeable poster covers

These units were designed to promote the Game corporate identity and fully utilise the advertising space that is usually wasted at the front of the store.

Different mouldings were produced to fit snugly over various Sensormatic and TAG pedestals whilst maintaining the performance and functionality of the security systems.
